Dropshipping is a fulfillment method where you don't keep the products you sell in stock. Instead, when you sell a product, you purchase the item(s) from Petdiscount and we ship it directly to your customer. As a result, you never se or handle the product(s).

Despite our critical role in the ordering and fulfillment process, Petdiscount is completely invisible to your customer. Our sole responsibility is to stock and ship products. Marketing, website development, customer service, return handling etc. , is your responsibility.

What does it cost?

Besides the shipping costs we do not charge any fee for dropshipping.

The Order Process

Here's a sample of how the entire ordering process might look:

Step 1 : A customer places an order on your webshop 

Your customer needs a transport cage for his dog and orders this at your webshop.  Once the order is approved, a few things happen:

- You and your customer get an notification of the order, either by e-mail or in your webshop software.
- The payment is captured during the checkout process and will be automatically deposited into your bank account.

Step 2 : You place the order at Petdiscount

You can place the order manually at our webshop. You select the ordered products, fill in your customer's details and you pay the order with one of the available payment methods.
The best solution however, is to use our API to automate

Step 3 : Petdiscount Ships the Order

Assuming the item is in stock and the payment was recieved, Petdiscount will box up the order and ship it directly to your customer. Though the shipment comes from Petdiscount, your company name and address will appear on the address label and packing slip.

Step 4 : The carrier notifies your customer of the shipment

Once the order is received by the carrier, they will send the tracking information to the customer. With the order shipped, the payment collected and the customer notified, the order and fulfillment process is complete. Your profit (or loss) is the difference between what you charged your customer and what you paid to Petdiscount.
